Role Description This is a remote internship role for an Interior Designer. The intern will support design projects by assisting with space planning, developing concept boards, and contributing to interior layouts under the guidance of senior designers. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating construction drawings, researching materials and finishes, and helping with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections. The role also involves organizing project documentation, participating in virtual design reviews, and coordinating with team members to refine design solutions. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and practical exposure to professional interior design workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and understanding of design fundamentals.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reading Construction Drawings.
Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is beneficial.
Strong visual communication skills, including basic drafting, 3D visualization, or rendering abilities.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management in a remote setting.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment and communicate clearly in English.
