The Eric Uzeta Agency is looking for a motivated Insurance Agent to join our Long Beach team. This is a sales-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and working toward goals.
You'll receive hands-on training and ongoing coaching while developing your insurance knowledge and sales skills.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required for this position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Connect with prospective customers through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up
- Work with both English and Spanish-speaking customers
- Ask questions to understand each client's needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
- Build long-term client relationships and identify additional sales opportunities
- Manage your sales pipeline and consistently follow up with prospects
- Work toward individual and agency sales goals
- Participate in ongoing sales and insurance training
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred
- Confident communicating over the phone and starting conversations
- Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential
- Persistent and able to handle rejection
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Organized with strong follow-up skills
- California Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing
