Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Video Editor at Elitex. The Video Editor will assemble, refine, and finalize video content for various digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage, applying video color grading, adding motion graphics and basic graphics, and synchronizing audio, music, and visual effects. The Video Editor will collaborate with producers, designers, and other stakeholders to interpret creative briefs, maintain consistent quality, and meet deadlines. The role also involves organizing media assets, exporting files in required formats, and staying current with editing trends and tools.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital and social media platforms.
Experience with Video Color Grading to achieve consistent visual style and mood.
Proficiency in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement.
Comfort working with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow brand and technical guidelines.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, part-time environment.
Prior experience in video editing for marketing, product, or educational content is beneficial.
Relevant education or training in film, media production, design, or a related field is a plus.
