Role Description The Vice President of AI Technology is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s AI strategy across asset management and investment decision processes. This position oversees the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions, including predictive models, analytics platforms, and intelligent tools that enhance portfolio management, risk assessment, and operational efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cross-functional AI initiatives, guiding technical teams, setting standards for data quality and model governance, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of AI technologies. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to identify high-impact opportunities, translate business requirements into scalable AI architectures, and continuously evaluate emerging technologies. The Vice President of AI Technology will also mentor team members, establish best practices, and foster a culture of innovation aligned with Kassai’s impact-oriented objectives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, with experience in software architecture, distributed systems, and scalable AI platforms.
Advanced expertise in Data Science and Analytics, including statistical modeling, machine learning, and data-driven decision-making in financial or related domains.
Deep knowledge of Pattern Recognition and Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a track record of building and deploying production-grade AI models.
Proven leadership in AI or technology teams, including strategic planning, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience working with complex datasets, data engineering pipelines, and modern cloud and MLOps ecosystems.
Strong understanding of asset management, financial markets, or quantitative finance; experience in emerging markets is an advantage.
Commitment to ethical AI, model governance, and regulatory compliance in data and technology use.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business recommendations for diverse audiences.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
