Role Description The AutoCAD Operator – Civil will support civil engineering and infrastructure projects by preparing and updating detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and related design tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting plans, sections, and elevations for roads, buildings, utilities, and other civil structures; revising drawings based on engineer or supervisor feedback; and organizing drawing files and documentation for back-office use. The role requires coordination with project teams, clear communication to understand design requirements, and accurate entry of technical information into project records. This is a part-time position based in Lucknow in a hybrid model, meaning the team member will work both from the office and from home as project needs require.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Computer Operations and Computer Literacy skills for efficient use of AutoCAD, MS Office, and related software.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members.
Candidates should possess Back Office Operations skills, including organizing files, maintaining records, and supporting documentation workflows.
Candidates should possess accurate Typing skills for entering project data, notes, and technical information.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (civil drafting), with the ability to prepare and modify civil drawings and layouts.
Basic understanding of civil engineering drawings, dimensions, and standards.
Ability to work independently, manage part-time schedules, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
Relevant certification or training in AutoCAD or civil drafting; a diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related field is an advantage.
