We're looking for a motivated Agent Apprentice who wants to build a long-term career in insurance sales.
You'll work directly with an experienced agency team while developing your sales skills, insurance knowledge, and client relationships. This is a performance-driven role for someone who enjoys working toward goals, earning commission, and continuing to grow professionally.
Previous sales experience or a demonstrated history of meeting measurable goals is required.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Connect with prospects through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and follow-up
- Learn about each client's needs and recommend appropriate coverage
- Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other insurance products
- Build relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify cross-selling and additional coverage opportunities
- Manage your sales pipeline and maintain consistent follow-up
- Work toward individual and agency production goals
- Participate in ongoing sales coaching and insurance training
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous sales experience or demonstrated success working toward measurable goals
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and asking for the sale
- Motivated by performance and earning potential
- Persistent when faced with rejection or setbacks
- Coachable and willing to apply feedback
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing
