Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a strategic Oracle transformation initiative. This consultant will provide deep functional expertise across the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle, partnering with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to optimize procurement and accounts payable processes within Oracle environments.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive Oracle P2P implementation experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive process improvements and best practices across enterprise procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the lead functional SME for Oracle Procure-to-Pay processes.
Analyze current-state procurement and accounts payable operations and recommend future-state improvements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements.
Design and validate Oracle P2P solutions aligned with business objectives.
Support configuration reviews, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
Lead workshops and facilitate discussions with procurement, finance, and operational teams.
Develop process documentation, training materials, and user adoption strategies.
Provide guidance on procurement best practices, controls, compliance, and process optimization.
Support cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to project leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience working with Oracle Procure-to-Pay solutions.
Strong expertise in procurement, purchasing, supplier management, receiving, invoicing, and accounts payable processes.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or Oracle E-Business Suite P2P modules.
Experience leading functional workstreams on Oracle implementation, upgrade, or transformation projects.
Strong business process analysis and requirements gathering skills.
Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and executive-level discussions.
Proven ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within professional services, consulting, or large enterprise environments.
Oracle Cloud certifications.
Experience supporting end-to-end finance transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of procurement governance, controls, and compliance frameworks.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
