Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will oversee and manage on-site civil engineering activities for real estate development projects in Erode. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising construction work, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing and implementing civil engineering designs, monitoring site progress, conducting quality checks, and resolving technical issues that arise during execution. The engineer will also support planning and scheduling, prepare site reports, and collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The role involves regular site inspections, problem-solving in the field, and clear communication with internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
Candidates should possess skills in Planning and coordinating site activities.
Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Stormwater Management and related infrastructure.
Candidates should ideally have experience working as Civil Engineers on real estate or construction projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Familiarity with building codes, local regulations, and construction safety standards.
Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on site.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
