Role Description As a Junior Architect at Metric Designers, you will support senior architects in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with project documentation across multiple phases of work. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing 2D and 3D design drawings, coordinating design details, and helping integrate structural, MEP, and interior inputs into cohesive architectural plans. You will participate in client meetings, contribute to design presentations, and assist with site visits for measurements, inspections, and progress reviews. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, helping track project timelines, and supporting basic project coordination tasks. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Indore, with a mix of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including the ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and design concepts.
Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration principles as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, and coordinated digital workflows.
Competence in Project Management fundamentals, such as organizing tasks, tracking deadlines, and supporting communication among project stakeholders.
Proficiency with relevant architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design tools) and familiarity with visualization tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification, with eligibility or pursuit of local architectural registration considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow design guidelines and documentation standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and adapt to a hybrid work schedule in Indore.
Interest in sustainable design, building codes, and construction practices; prior internship or project experience is beneficial.
