Role: L2+ Hitachi Storage Administrator
We are looking for an experienced Hitachi Storage Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Hitachi VSP enterprise storage environments.
Mandatory Requirements
5+ years of relevant enterprise storage administration experience with strong hands-on Hitachi VSP expertise.
Hands-on experience with Hitachi Ops Center, RAIDCOM and Hitachi Command Suite.
Strong experience with Hitachi replication technologies: TrueCopy and/or Universal Replicator (UR).
Experience with ThinImage and/or ShadowImage.
Strong knowledge of SAN administration, including Brocade or Cisco Director-class switches.
Hands-on experience in performance analysis, troubleshooting, capacity planning and storage provisioning.
Experience in DR planning, replication monitoring and DR testing.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently handle L2/L2+ incidents and escalations.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
Preferred / Added Advantage
Automation/scripting using Bash, PowerShell or Python.
SAN/NAS architecture and design knowledge.
Linux/Windows file systems, NFS/CIFS.
ITIL-based incident/change/problem management.
Hitachi Vantara certification.
