Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our remote development team. This role is suitable for a developer with 1–3 years of hands-on Java development experience who wants to build and strengthen their skills in enterprise application development.
The selected candidate will work with senior developers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Java-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java applications under the guidance of senior developers.
Write clean, readable, and maintainable Java code.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
Assist in building and maintaining microservices.
Debug application issues and participate in troubleshooting.
Write unit tests using JUnit/Mockito.
Work with databases and write basic to intermediate SQL queries.
Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
Assist with API integration and third-party service integrations.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and sprint activities.
Work with Git for source-code management.
Assist senior developers with production support and issue resolution.
Learn and apply best practices for application security, performance, and scalability.
Prepare basic technical documentation when required.
Required Skills
1–3 years of Java development experience
Strong understanding of Core Java
Knowledge of Java 8/11/17
Basic to intermediate Spring Boot
Understanding of REST APIs
Knowledge of Microservices
Basic SQL and database knowledge
Experience with Git
Knowledge of JUnit
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Good problem-solving and communication skills
