Title: Senior Java Full-stack Architect - USC/GC only W2 role
Genesys – CA (Remote)
Role Type: Contract
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of overall software development experience with a strong enterprise Java background and deep expertise across Java, Spring Boot, event-driven microservices, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, modern frontend technologies, enterprise architecture, and Generative AI.
Required Technical Skills
• Java: Java 17/21+ with strong hands-on experience
• Spring: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
• Microservices: Enterprise microservices, distributed systems, and REST API architecture
• Event-Driven Architecture: Apache Kafka / Kafka Streams
• Data & Event Processing: Debezium CDC and real-time data/event processing
• Kubernetes: Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm with production enterprise deployments
• Autoscaling: KEDA for event-driven Kubernetes autoscaling
• Service Mesh: Istio or Linkerd
• CI/CD & GitOps: Argo CD / GitOps for Kubernetes deployments
• Frontend: React.js with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Generative AI: Integration of Generative AI into enterprise Java applications
• AI Frameworks: LangChain4j / Spring AI, RAG, and AI Agents
• MCP: MCP integration with enterprise Java applications is a key differentiator
