ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator Intern to join the People team and help House AI build its next generation of talent. House AI receives applications for every internship we offer, and each one deserves a thoughtful review and a clear next step. You will shadow the CTO through the hiring process, help evaluate applicants, and play a direct role in deciding which candidates move forward.
This is an opportunity to learn how a fast-growing AI company recruits, evaluates, and builds its team, while making a real impact on who joins it.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Shadow the CTO through the hiring process, from application review to final decision.
Review resumes and applications, and help decide which candidates advance to interviews.
Evaluate applicants against role requirements and share clear, well-reasoned recommendations.
Schedule interviews across time zones, send confirmations and reminders, and reschedule when needed.
Keep the applicant tracker current so anyone on the team can see where every candidate stands.
Prepare interview packets: resume, application, screening notes, and questions for the call.
Send status updates to applicants at every stage, including the no.
Use AI tools, including Claude, to streamline screening and improve how the pipeline runs.
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE
Pursuing or holding a B.S./B.A. in Business Administration or equivalent degree or experience.
Proven track record of discretion, reliability, and proactive problem-solving in complex environments.
Sound judgment and the ability to assess candidates fairly and consistently.
Clear, kind written communication, including emails that deliver bad news.
Comfort with Google Workspace and managing a calendar with many moving pieces.
No prior recruiting experience required.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS
Part time, 20 hours per week, 100% remote.
Fall 2026 term runs August 10 to December 18, 2026, with rolling start dates.
Unpaid. There is no stipend or health coverage.
Work authorization is not required.
