Legal Recruiter

StevenDouglas is looking to add tenured Attorney Recruiters to our team.
We’re seeking experienced legal recruiters with a proven track record working on both the candidate and client sides of the business. This is an opportunity for an established recruiter to leverage their experience, expand their business, and have the resources and platform of a well-established top executive search firm behind them.
The role will support law firms nationally on associate and partner placements, as well as companies on General Counsel and senior legal searches, with a particular focus on clients and candidates across the East Coast. The position can be located in Atlanta, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Miami or remote (depending on experience).
What we’re looking for:
• 5+ years of proven experience recruiting attorneys at the associate and partner levels
• Experience consulting both the candidate and client sides of the business
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to develop new clients and grow existing relationships
• Ability to work with urgency across both contingency and retained searches
• Strong understanding of the legal market and attorney career paths
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ownership mentality, and desire to build a book of business
