One of Talent Scout's client partners is building a live, client-facing marketing and SEO reporting product where engineering, marketing data, workflow automation, and applied AI all sit in one place. This seat starts half-time and converts to full-time as the work grows. You'd own features end to end: from the SQL query and data pipeline through the React dashboard and the AI-generated insight sitting on top of it.
You'll fit right in if you:
Have strong React and Node.js skills, comfortable owning both frontend and serverless backend
Have strong SQL fluency — writing, debugging, and reasoning about query performance
Have hands-on experience integrating an LLM API (Anthropic or OpenAI) into a real production product
Understand LLM cost/latency tradeoffs and know how to make AI output reliable enough for real users
Have shipped dashboards or analyses that both technical and non-technical stakeholders actually trusted
Can take an ambiguous business question and turn it into something accurate and presentable, without heavy hand-holding
This is an embedded role — not freelance, not temporary. You'll join the client's team directly, U.S. time-zone aligned, with Talent Scout supporting you every step of the way as the engagement scales up.
