Information Security Analys

Role Description The Information Security Analyst is a full-time, remote role responsible for protecting TCI Max Cement’s information assets and technology infrastructure. In this position, the analyst monitors security events and alerts, investigates potential incidents, and coordinates responses to security threats. Daily activities include reviewing system and network logs, conducting vulnerability assessments, and supporting secure configurations for applications and cloud services. The role also involves maintaining information security policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and collaborating with IT and business teams to implement security best practices. The analyst will regularly prepare reports, contribute to security awareness initiatives, and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Application Security and secure software development practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security Management for enterprise environments.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Privacy, including understanding of relevant regulations and data protection frameworks.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design.
Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and incident response processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and risk-based decision-making.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are an advantage.
