Logistics Project Manager (Bilingual)

Role Description The Logistics Project Manager is a full-time role that will travel to various locations but main location is in NY. This role oversees logistics projects from initiation through completion, coordinating timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver reliable solutions for customers. Daily responsibilities include managing freight and logistics operations, monitoring project performance, analyzing data, and resolving issues that may impact service quality or cost. The Logistics Project Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure clear communication, alignment on requirements, and successful implementation of logistics strategies. The role also involves preparing reports, optimizing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bilingual in Japanese and English
Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers.
Possesses Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor logistics projects from start to finish.
Budgeting skills to manage project costs, track financial performance, and support cost-control efforts.
Logistics Management skills to oversee freight flows, warehouse coordination, and end-to-end supply chain activities.
Relevant qualifications include experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management and familiarity with transportation and warehouse processes.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment; prior experience in project-based logistics or 3PL operations is beneficial.
