2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer II - Agentic Intelligence role focuses on designing and delivering advanced AI agents that analyze and act on live observability data within the organization’s agentic workspace. This position is responsible for creating trustworthy, production-grade agents that enhance engineers’ ability to diagnose and resolve system issues quickly. The role requires ownership from prototype through to production, advancing the capabilities of the agent platform and shaping its future development.
3. Responsibilities:
Design and implement production-ready AI agents that investigate and reason over live observability data.
Take ownership of agent development, including scoping, building, shipping, and maintaining features.
Leverage the organization’s high-cardinality data store to build unique agents that provide insights beyond conventional observability tools.
Extend and improve the agent workspace, server infrastructure, and related components.
Define quality standards for agents, ensuring they are measurable, maintainable, and transparent about limitations.
4. Requirements:
Experience shipping large language model (LLM) based systems in production environments.
Ability to own projects end-to-end from prototype to production.
Up-to-date knowledge of recent developments in agent design.
Deep understanding of agent architectures utilizing fast, high-cardinality data stores.
Strong product judgment to identify and prototype future agent capabilities.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Base salary range: $183,340 to $206,000 USD, based on level of experience.
