About the Role
American Lithium Energy is seeking an experienced Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead product strategy, development, and commercialization across advanced battery and energy storage technologies.
As a member of the executive leadership team, the CPO will define the product vision and roadmap, identify market opportunities, and ensure alignment between technology development, customer needs, and commercial priorities.
The ideal candidate brings strong executive leadership, product management expertise, and experience working with complex technology-driven products.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the company's overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Lead product development and commercialization initiatives from concept through market introduction.
Identify new market opportunities, applications, and customer requirements.
Translate technology capabilities and market insights into clear product priorities.
Partner with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, operations, and commercial teams.
Oversee product lifecycle planning, positioning, and portfolio development.
Evaluate emerging battery technologies, industry trends, and competitive developments.
Establish product management processes, performance metrics, and organizational priorities.
Build and lead a high-performing product organization.
Support strategic partnerships and key customer engagements.
Present product strategy and investment priorities to executive leadership.
Ensure product initiatives support the company's long-term commercial and growth objectives.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product leadership, product development, engineering, technology commercialization, or related fields.
Senior leadership experience within battery technology, energy storage, advanced manufacturing, clean technology, or another technology-driven industry.
Proven experience developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps.
Demonstrated ability to bring complex technical products from development to commercialization.
Strong understanding of customer needs, competitive positioning, and technology markets.
Experience collaborating across engineering, R&D, manufacturing, operations, and commercial functions.
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
