Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a forward-deployed engineering role sitting at the intersection of Engineering, Product, and enterprise customers. You will work directly with large enterprise clients across Europe and the US, building integrations and solving complex technical challenges that feed back into the core platform. The work you ship does not stay customer-specific; it becomes a product capability used by everyone.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work directly with enterprise customers to design and implement scalable technical solutions.
- Build and maintain enterprise integrations across APIs, SAP, and other business systems.
- Own customer-driven product features end-to-end, from requirements through to production deployment.
- Debug and resolve complex issues in live production environments.
- Build MVPs and evolve them into reusable, scalable platform capabilities.
- Automate deployment and implementation workflows in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
- Turn recurring customer needs into product features that benefit all users.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining enterprise API and system integrations.
- Proven ability to debug and resolve complex issues in production environments.
- Experience designing scalable technical solutions for distributed systems.
- Track record of owning features from requirements through implementation to production.
- Experience automating deployment or implementation workflows using scripting or infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Comfort working directly with enterprise customers and translating real-world challenges into product improvements.
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across Engineering, Product, and customer teams.
- Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for bringing it into enterprise operations.
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise business systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with procurement software or procurement domain workflows is a plus.
LOCATION
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
