Product Analyst II – Data/Digital
Contract: 6+ months
Location: Remote – preference for candidates working Pacific Time hours
Pay Rate: $56–$64/hour
Focus: Clinical Research
Position Overview
We are seeking a Product Analyst II – Data/Digital to support digital and data products within a healthcare and clinical research environment. This role will work closely with clinical, business, research, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, develop user stories, map workflows, and help identify and implement solutions that support data-driven decision-making.
The Product Analyst will also conduct market research, evaluate potential technical solutions, support product roadmap development, and help drive adoption and effective use of digital and data products across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business, clinical, research, and technology stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Develop user stories and workflow diagrams that translate business needs into application and product requirements.
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of digital and data products.
Analyze business and technical needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Conduct market and industry research to identify problems, trends, and potential solutions.
Support development and expansion of digital and data product roadmaps.
Work with enterprise leaders to improve the use of technology and data for decision-making.
Identify opportunities for workflow improvement, business transformation, and innovation.
Support reporting and analytics, including standard, ad hoc, and custom reports.
Assist with system implementations, rollouts, and user training.
Manage multiple priorities and work efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with internal users, vendors, and IT teams to resolve questions, service issues, and system-related problems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of product analysis and/or business analysis experience.
Cerner / Oracle Health experience is required.
Hands-on experience developing visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
Experience gathering requirements from users and developing workflow diagrams that translate into application builds.
Experience evaluating and recommending technical solutions.
Experience supporting data-driven decision-making and working with stakeholders across different business areas.
Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare information systems experience.
Experience supporting clinical or research-related environments.
Working knowledge of application systems, business functions, industry best practices, and applicable regulations.
Exposure to programming and/or system integrations.
Experience developing standard, ad hoc, or custom reports.
