DevOps Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
We build a high-precision indoor/outdoor navigation platform powered by cloud-connected positioning engines, spatial mapping infrastructure, and edge data processing pipelines. We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to own, scale, and secure our multi-region Azure cloud architecture and automated deployment pipelines.
In this role, you will be the primary architect of our Azure infrastructure and DevOps workflows. You will work closely with application and core platform engineers to automate infrastructure provisioning, enhance CI/CD automation, optimize platform scalability, and ensure robust security and observability across our production cloud environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions for automated testing, container builds, and zero-downtime deployments.
Manage containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Helm charts for microservices deployment.
Implement enterprise-grade monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Prometheus/Grafana.
Enforce DevSecOps practices by integrating vulnerability scanning, secret management (Azure Key Vault), and RBAC access controls into deployment workflows.
Partner with application teams to improve cloud architecture resiliency, disaster recovery strategy, and cost management (FinOps optimizations).
MUST-HAVES
1. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
2. Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
3. Hands-on experience configuring and administering Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration tooling.
4. Deep proficiency with build and release pipeline tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
5. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.
6. Solid knowledge of networking concepts in Azure (VNets, Application Gateway, VPN/ExpressRoute, DNS, Load Balancers).
7. Proven track record of managing production environments, incident response, and SLA management.
NICE TO HAVE
Azure DevOps or Cloud Architect Certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-305).
Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
Familiarity with serverless architectures (Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps).
Knowledge of cloud security compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
