Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM Eastern Time (ET)
Equivalent scheduled hours:
Eastern Time: 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
Central Time: 10:00AM-6:30PM
Mountain Time: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pacific Time: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Arizona: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM while Eastern Daylight Time is observed; 9:00 AM–5:30 PM while Eastern Standard Time is observed
Candidates must be available to work the entire scheduled shift based on Eastern Time, regardless of their state or time zone of residence.
Must be willing to work one Saturday shift per month.
Compensation: Starting minimum wage $20 - $22 per hour. Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications

We value precision, accountability, communication, and a shared dedication to improving health outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Long-Term Care Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team in a remote capacity.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Remote Long-Term Care Pharmacy Data Entry Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders and maintaining resident medication profiles within FrameworkLTC.
This position requires previous long-term care pharmacy experience and demonstrated proficiency with FrameworkLTC. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a high-volume environment, and capable of working independently while remaining an active and accountable member of the pharmacy team.
Because this is a remote position requiring a high degree of independence, candidates must possess the experience and technical proficiency necessary to perform essential data-entry responsibilities with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately enter new prescriptions, refill orders, changes, discontinuations, and other medication orders into FrameworkLTC.
Review prescription orders for completeness and accuracy prior to processing.
Accurately enter and maintain resident demographics, allergies, prescriber information, medication directions, quantities, refills, diagnoses, and other required information.
Interpret prescription directions and appropriately translate medication orders into accurate pharmacy system entries.
Identify incomplete, conflicting, unclear, or potentially erroneous information and appropriately escalate discrepancies for clarification.
Maintain accurate and current resident medication profiles.
Process admissions, readmissions, discharges, medication changes, and other resident-related updates in accordance with established procedures.
Prioritize incoming orders based on urgency, delivery schedules, facility needs, and established pharmacy workflow.
Communicate professionally with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, prescribers, facility personnel, and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
Answer and appropriately manage incoming telephone calls and pharmacy-related requests.
Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while managing multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
Follow established pharmacy policies, procedures, workflows, and quality-assurance standards.
Identify errors or recurring discrepancies and appropriately communicate concerns to pharmacy leadership.
Protect confidential patient and pharmacy information and maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable privacy and security requirements.
Maintain consistent attendance, availability, and responsiveness throughout the assigned remote work schedule.
Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience using FrameworkLTC pharmacy software in a long-term care pharmacy setting.
Previous long-term care pharmacy data-entry experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with FrameworkLTC, including efficient system navigation and accurate completion of essential pharmacy data-entry functions.
Candidates must successfully complete a FrameworkLTC proficiency assessment during the hiring process. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of this assessment and demonstration of the level of proficiency required for the position.
Strong working knowledge of pharmacy terminology, prescription processing, dosage forms, strengths, routes of administration, frequencies, and commonly used prescription abbreviations.
Ability to accurately interpret and enter prescription orders, SIGs, quantities, refills, prescriber information, resident information, and other prescription-related data.
Ability to recognize incomplete, inconsistent, or potentially erroneous prescription information and appropriately escalate discrepancies.
Advanced computer and data-entry skills with the ability to efficiently navigate multiple applications and systems.
Minimum typing speed of 70 words per minute (WPM) with a high degree of accuracy. Candidates may be required to complete a typing assessment during the hiring process.

Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume pharmacy environment.

Adapt to flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and comply with HIPAA requirements and company privacy and security policies.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
Must maintain a reliable, secure, quiet, and professional workspace appropriate for handling confidential patient and pharmacy information.
Must have reliable high-speed internet service capable of supporting company systems, applications, and communication requirements. NovoPharm will contribute to cost of service.
Must remain actively available and responsive throughout the assigned work schedule.
Must comply with all company information-security, privacy, HIPAA, and remote-access requirements.
Remote work must be performed from the employee's approved work location and state of residence unless otherwise authorized by the company.
Employees are expected to maintain the same productivity, accuracy, communication, attendance, and performance standards required of on-site pharmacy personnel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS *not requirements*
Two (2) or more years of long-term care pharmacy data-entry experience.
Two (2) or more years of experience using FrameworkLTC.
Experience working in a high-volume closed-door LTC pharmacy.
Experience processing new admissions, readmissions, medication changes, discontinuations, refills, and facility-related pharmacy requests.
Familiarity with third-party billing, insurance adjudication, prior authorizations, formulary issues, refill-too-soon rejections, and other common pharmacy claim issues.
FrameworkLTC Proficiency Assessment
Because proficiency with FrameworkLTC is an essential qualification for this position, qualified candidates will be required to complete a job-related proficiency assessment as part of the selection process.
The assessment may evaluate the candidate's ability to navigate FrameworkLTC and complete representative data-entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Successful completion of the FrameworkLTC proficiency assessment is a condition of employment.
The assessment is intended to verify that candidates possess the FrameworkLTC knowledge and practical experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
