Vice President of Strategic Planning

Role Description The Vice President of Strategic Planning is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and driving Creditkash Groupe AFRIKA’s long-term strategic direction and business growth. This role oversees the development of comprehensive business plans, leads market and competitive analyses, and partners with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into measurable initiatives. The Vice President will coordinate cross-functional planning cycles, set performance targets, and monitor progress against strategic objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating new market opportunities, assessing financial implications of strategic choices, preparing executive-level presentations and reports, and guiding teams through data-driven decision-making. The role also involves mentoring team members, strengthening strategic planning processes, and ensuring alignment between business strategy, financial performance, and operational execution.
Qualifications
Strong strategic planning and business planning skills, with experience designing and implementing long-term growth strategies.
Advanced analytical skills and market research capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decisions.
Solid finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating the financial impact of strategic initiatives.
Proven leadership experience in senior roles, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas to executive stakeholders clearly.
Experience working remotely, with strong self-management, accountability, and digital collaboration skills.
Relevant graduate degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance, Economics, or related field) preferred; significant equivalent experience considered.
Background in financial services, fintech, or emerging markets is an advantage, along with familiarity with regulatory and risk considerations.
