US/UK Payroll Specialist

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site US/UK Payroll Specialist role based in Gurugram. The Payroll Specialist will manage end-to-end payroll processing for US and UK employee populations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regional regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing and validating payroll data, calculating wages, taxes, deductions, and garnishments, and coordinating with payroll service providers as needed. The role involves maintaining payroll records, responding to employee payroll inquiries, reconciling payroll reports, and collaborating with finance and HR teams on audits and statutory filings. The Payroll Specialist will also support continuous process improvement and contribute to consistent payroll practices across PRISM’s global portfolio.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Payroll Processing and Payroll Administration, including end-to-end payroll cycles for US and UK regions.
Experience managing Payroll Taxes and compliance, with knowledge of statutory regulations and reporting requirements.
Hands-on expertise in handling Garnishments and other payroll deductions in line with applicable laws.
Ability to work effectively with Payroll Services providers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely disbursements.
Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data validation and reporting.
Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll concepts clearly to non-specialists.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant payroll certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in multinational or multi-country payroll environments, especially in US/UK contexts, is highly beneficial.
