We're a small, engineer-led team that builds collaboratively and treats client feedback as essential until each system is reliable, high quality, and aligned with the client's goals.
Role: AI & Data Operations Specialist
You'll work across client engagements under the guidance of a senior engineer, from data readiness and process mapping through automation builds and agent deployment. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter who enjoys making AI useful for real businesses.
Core Responsibilities
- Data Foundation Work: Help clients organize, clean, and connect their business data so AI systems have something meaningful to work with, using Supabase (PostgreSQL), Python, and API integrations.
- Business Automation: Build and deploy automated workflows in Python (FastAPI) on Railway and Azure to streamline operations, marketing, and administrative processes.
- Agent Development: Build, test, and maintain agents for multi-step business tasks, using tool calling and answers grounded in real data.
- Client Delivery Support: Assist in training sessions, readiness assessments, and onboarding so clients understand and adopt the systems we build.
- Process Improvement: Review existing operations, find bottlenecks, and propose practical fixes through code, AI tools, or automation.
- Technical Documentation: Keep clear documentation for every system, automation, and process so handover and scaling stay smooth.
Required Qualifications
- No degree required. A background in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics is a plus.
- At least 1 year in a development, automation, data, or technical operations role.
- Excellent written and spoken English. You'll work directly with US-based clients.
Essential Skills
- Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for scripting, data processing, and application work.
- Relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
- At least basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Experience using AI tools (LLMs, data analysis) in a real business context.
- JSON, REST APIs, and integrating systems together.
- Building LLM agents with tool calling, with answers grounded in source data.
- Familiarity with Claude Code, Supabase, and Railway is a strong plus.
Preferred Skills
- React for client-facing interfaces.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and explaining technical concepts in plain language.
- Process-oriented thinker who designs reliable, repeatable systems.
- Comfortable experimenting, iterating quickly, and learning from failure.
- Strong self-learning drive and a bias toward execution.
Work Arrangement & Benefits
- Location: Fully remote, any time zone.
- Compensation: $1,200 to $1,400 USD/month plus a quarterly performance-based bonus.
