Project Manager, Laboratory Installations

Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects that support Camelback Ventures’ fellows, programs, and organizational initiatives. This role manages project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful execution, while maintaining clear communication with internal teams, external partners, and fellows. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing project plans, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing solutions to keep projects on schedule and within scope. The Project Manager will facilitate meetings, prepare status reports, maintain documentation, and optimize processes across multiple concurrent projects. This position also contributes to continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and recommending strategies to enhance impact and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management and related planning and coordination capabilities.
Candidates should possess expediting skills, including experience as an Expeditor and in Expediting to move tasks and deliverables forward efficiently.
Candidates should possess quality and oversight skills, including Inspection competencies to ensure projects and outputs meet established standards.
Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management experience to coordinate resources, schedules, and workflows.
Relevant experience managing multiple projects in a mission-driven or startup environment, preferably supporting diverse or underinvested communities.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
Proficiency with project management tools and software, and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in social impact, nonprofit, or venture support is an asset.
