Senior Android Developer

Responsibilities
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior/Lead Android Developer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role will focus on migrating legacy Android code to a modern architecture using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with future adoption of Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with strong Android development expertise, a solid understanding of mobile architecture and best practices, and the ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions. Experience building high-traffic mobile applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging AI-driven tools to improve development, testing, and delivery processes is highly preferred. Retail or other large-scale customer-facing application experience is a plus.
Requirements
5-7+ years of mobile development experience (Android)
Heavy experience with Kotlin
Experience with Jetpack compose
Experience with AI
Experience with KMP (preferred)
Strong agile experience
Experience with Retail a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
