Senior AI Analyst

Responsibilities
A Kforce Financial Services client in San Diego, CA is currently looking for a Senior AI Analyst for a 6 month contract that is remote. The candidate must work PST hours. Summary: The Senior AI Analyst will lead the delivery of AI and machine learning initiatives that drive business value. This role partners with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, guide solution delivery, and support production AI systems. The ideal candidate combines strong data analysis skills with experience translating complex business needs into AI-powered solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Senior AI Analyst will lead AI initiatives from discovery through implementation and production support
Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements
Partner with cross-functional teams to design and deploy AI solutions
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, drive prioritization, and manage project risks
Analyze business problems and identify opportunities for AI adoption
Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution recommendations
Monitor AI solution performance and recommend enhancements
As a Senior AI Analyst, you will support AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices
Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices and standards
Present findings, recommendations, and project results to leadership
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience in business analysis, AI, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or related technologies
Experience gathering requirements and leading complex technology initiatives
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, and Engineering
Knowledge of AI governance, data governance, and model risk concepts
Strong SQL, data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence experience
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field
Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or mortgage
Experience leading enterprise AI programs and production AI deployments
Knowledge of responsible AI, compliance, and governance frameworks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
