About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

If your entire acquisition strategy is “run more Meta ads,” this probably isn't your job.
We're looking for someone who thinks bigger than an ad account.
Someone who looks at a growth goal and starts asking:
Who are we trying to reach? Where are they already paying attention? What's the smartest way to get in front of them? Where are we sending them? What happens after they click? What is it costing us to acquire them? And what should we test next?
The Wealthy Practitioner is hiring an Acquisition & Traffic Specialist to help build the next stage of our customer acquisition engine.
Yes, you'll run paid media. You'll be hands-on inside Meta and Google. You'll build campaigns, manage budgets, test audiences and creative, analyze performance, and optimize.
But we're looking for someone who understands traffic, not just Meta.
Paid. Search. YouTube. Content. Retargeting. Emerging channels. Opportunities we haven't considered yet.
You don't need to believe we should use all of them.
You need to be able to tell us which ones are worth testing and why.
This Is Strategy + Execution
We don't want a strategist who creates an acquisition plan and hands it to someone else.
And we don't want a media buyer who waits for someone else to tell them exactly what campaign to build.
We need both.
You'll work with our Director of Brand & Growth to understand the growth objective, develop the acquisition approach, and then personally execute it.
You'll think. Execute. Analyze. Adjust.
Then come back with the next recommendation.
What You're Walking Into
The Wealthy Practitioner is a fast-growing coaching and education company serving ambitious health and wellness practitioners.
We're not starting from zero — and we're not pretending our acquisition engine is finished.
We have established audiences, proven offers, live campaigns, launches, events, evergreen opportunities, a growing content ecosystem, and historical data to work from.
There are existing funnels to optimize. Creative winners to identify. Audiences to understand better. Search opportunities to explore. Content we could distribute more intelligently. Channels we haven't fully leveraged.
And probably opportunities sitting right in front of us that we haven't recognized yet.
We want you to find them.
What You'll Own
You'll own the day-to-day health and evolution of TWP's acquisition engine.
You'll:
Personally build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta and Google
Manage budgets, audiences, targeting, placements, and campaign structures
Build intentional testing plans and hypotheses
Analyze campaign-, audience-, channel-, and creative-level performance
Identify opportunities to scale winning campaigns
Recognize underperformance quickly and determine what needs to change
Evaluate new acquisition channels and recommend what is worth testing
Partner with Brand, Campaigns, Content, and Sales to understand downstream lead quality and conversion
Connect acquisition performance to actual customer and revenue outcomes
Help improve attribution, tracking, UTMs, and reporting
You'll know more than the blended number at the top of the dashboard.
Think Beyond the Click
Cheap traffic doesn't impress us if it doesn't create quality customers.
A low CPL isn't automatically a win. A pretty ROAS number isn't particularly useful if the attribution is wrong.
You need to understand the entire journey:
Ad → Click → Landing Page → Lead → Customer → Revenue
Are the leads qualified? Are they converting? Is Sales seeing a difference between traffic sources? Is the funnel the problem — or the traffic? Is the creative wrong for the audience? Are we optimizing for the wrong thing?
We want someone who investigates those questions.
Creative Matters Here
You don't need to be our graphic designer or video editor.
You do need to understand why creative performs.
You'll evaluate hooks, messaging, concepts, formats, audiences, fatigue, and performance patterns — and turn those insights into better creative testing.
We don't want:
“Please send me five new ads.”
We want:
“Here's what's working, here's what I think we need next, and here's why I want to test it.”
You're Probably Our Person If...
You're equal parts strategist and operator.
You understand Meta deeply, but you don't believe Meta is synonymous with acquisition.
You understand Google and search intent.
You're curious about new channels without chasing every shiny object.
You understand funnels and customer journeys.
You can look at acquisition data and find the story inside it.
You're comfortable managing meaningful budgets because every dollar should have a reason behind it.
You test intentionally.
And one of your strongest instincts is:
“What should we do next?”
What We're Looking For
3+ years of hands-on digital acquisition, performance marketing, media buying, traffic generation, or comparable growth marketing experience
Strong hands-on Meta Ads experience
Demonstrated Google Ads and search acquisition experience
Experience personally managing meaningful paid media budgets
Experience developing acquisition strategy — not simply executing someone else's
Strong understanding of creative and audience testing, optimization, scaling, funnels, landing pages, and conversion
Understanding of attribution, UTMs, and the limitations of platform reporting
Ability to connect acquisition performance to CRM, Sales, customer quality, and revenue
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities beyond a single advertising platform
Experience with YouTube, Spotify, GoHighLevel, SEO, content distribution, direct-response marketing, coaching/education businesses, events, or digital products is a strong plus.
This Role Probably Isn't for You If...
You're primarily looking for another Meta Ads account to manage.
You need someone else to develop the acquisition strategy before you can execute.
You want to strategize but don't want to personally build campaigns.
Your reporting stops at spend, leads, CPA, and blended ROAS.
You optimize entirely inside the ad platform without understanding what happens after the lead comes in.
Or you wait for leadership to identify new acquisition opportunities instead of proactively bringing them forward.
What Success Looks Like
We know where our traffic comes from, what it costs, which audiences respond, which creative performs, and which traffic actually creates quality customers.
Testing has a purpose.
Budget follows performance and opportunity — not habit.
Winning campaigns get scaled. Losing campaigns don't quietly burn money.
New channels get tested because there's a reason to test them.
And leadership isn't constantly asking:
“What else could we be doing?”
Because you're already bringing those opportunities to the table.
Why TWP
We're building a much more sophisticated growth engine at The Wealthy Practitioner — and this role gets to help build it.
You won't inherit a perfectly polished acquisition machine.
That's the opportunity.
We want someone who sees possibility in the mess. Someone who gets excited by data and has enough ownership to say:
“I think we're leaving money on the table here, and here's what I want to test.”
Then execute it, measure it, and tell us what we learned.
If you're already thinking about all the places our next customer might be hiding —
we want to hear from you.
