Business Operations Manager

About the Opportunity
The Business Operations Manager will lead critical cross-functional programs that underpin core business operations across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, partner operations, delivery networks, and Go-to-Market. This role is responsible for taking ambiguous, complex problems and transforming them into documented, measured processes with clear ownership.
Working across teams without direct authority, the Business Operations Manager will conduct thorough quantitative analysis, coordinate cross-departmental execution, and deliver structured communication to senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage three to five concurrent cross-functional programs, establishing defined end states, published statuses, dependency owners, and target completion dates.
Drive outcomes across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Operations, Solutions, and Go-to-Market teams, escalating with sound judgment when dependencies stall.
Analyze operational workflows across multiple systems and teams, quantify the costs of current-state processes, and design and execute consolidated or automated solutions.
Produce data-driven analysis to guide program decisions using the organization's data, reporting infrastructure, and modern AI tools.
Fully document completed programs and manage handoffs to permanent operational owners, establishing enduring operational metrics.
Prepare and present regular program reviews, status reports, and strategic recommendations with clear supporting rationale to executive leadership.
Provide analytical support and backup coverage for FP&A, Deal Desk, and business operations deliverables.
Assist in planning and executing organizational operating cadences, including quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and leadership offsites.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
4 to 7 years of post-undergraduate experience in management consulting or corporate strategy (with client-facing, multi-stakeholder delivery), or in business operations, strategic finance, revenue operations, or chief of staff roles managing operationally complex domains.
Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional initiatives resulting in measurable outcomes, including identifying operational gaps, aligning stakeholders, and driving measurable improvements.
Proven program management capability in scoping ambiguous initiatives, sequencing critical paths, and maintaining schedule accountability across diverse teams without direct authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to executive leadership and a willingness to handle recurring operational tasks.
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to independently develop and validate defensible figures, paired with familiarity using BI platforms, data warehouse tooling, and AI-assisted analysis tools.
High degree of self-direction, curiosity, and proactive initiative to identify and resolve unassigned operational gaps.
Comfort operating effectively in fast-paced settings characterized by shifting priorities and ambiguous or incomplete information.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional background in B2B SaaS, marketplace models, logistics, or other operationally intensive businesses.
Experience with SQL.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $152,500 - $170,000
Annual Variable Compensation: $30,000 - $35,000
Equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
