Web Development Intern

Role Description: This is an on-site, contract web development intern role. The intern will assist in building and maintaining websites, supporting both front-end and back-end development tasks under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities may include implementing responsive layouts, updating content and features, debugging issues, and optimising site performance. The role also involves collaborating with designers to translate visual concepts into functional web pages and participating in team meetings to align on project requirements, timelines, and best practices.
Qualifications
Front-end skills, including basic proficiency in front-end development and web design.
Foundational understanding of back-end web development and general web development concepts.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with designers, developers, and clients.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; exposure to modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
Wordpress, Shopify knowing is a advantage.
Basic knowledge of version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to follow coding standards and documentation practices.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in computer science, web development, or a related field.
Comfort working in a remote environment and managing tasks with guidance from a distributed team.
