We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app and by phone. Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas.
About This Role
We're looking for a part-time contract UX designer to take existing wireframe direction for a set of key pages and turn it into production-ready design, working directly with in-house developers on handoff. This is focused, hands-on execution work rather than a broad design-strategy mandate.

Roles & Responsibilities
Turn existing wireframes and page direction into polished, production-ready Figma designs
Design and iterate on key transactional page templates (for example, currency converter and send money flows) with a focus on usability and conversion
Collaborate directly with in-house developers on implementation and handoff, resolving design questions as they build
Build reusable content-block patterns, such as a rotating value-proposition banner, that other pages can reuse
Flag usability issues or opportunities as you work, even outside the immediate page scope
Run lightweight usability testing or user research on the pages you design, and use what you learn to inform iterations
Look at user behavior and conversion data for the pages you own to spot friction points worth addressing
Position Requirements
5+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally with production handoff to developers, not just concept work
Strong Figma skills: components, auto layout, prototyping
A portfolio that shows shipped, production work, not just concepts
Comfort working from existing wireframes or direction rather than starting from a blank page
Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS, enough to have informed conversations with developers about feasibility
Experience designing for conversion, forms, checkout-style flows, or similar transactional UI
Comfort analyzing user behavior or research data and turning it into concrete design decisions, not just intuition
Experience conducting usability testing, user interviews, or similar lightweight research
A working understanding of SEO and AEO fundamentals, enough to design pages that support rather than conflict with search and AI-answer visibility work happening in parallel
Nice to have
Financial services or fintech experience
Experience with design systems or component libraries
Familiarity with a product analytics tool such as Amplitude
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g. Figma AI) for faster integrationist design tools (e.g. Figma AI) for faster iteration
