Senior Field Service Technician

Role Description This full-time Service Technician role is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment, performing diagnostic tests, and troubleshooting technical issues at customer locations. The Service Technician will respond to service calls, complete work orders, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers about service needs, explaining findings and repairs, and providing professional, courteous support. Accurate record-keeping, inventory tracking, and coordination with the office team are integral to this position.
Qualifications
Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Proficient Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical and operational issues.
Experience in Field Service, including working at customer sites and managing service calls.
Solid Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles relevant to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Comfort working independently, managing time effectively, and using digital tools for reporting.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
High school diploma or equivalent a plus; technical training and/or HVAC and refrigeration certifications are a plus.
Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
