Healthcare Regulatory Litigation Associate (2-5 Years of Experience)
Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, or Greater Washington, D.C. Area | Remote-Flexible Environment

A nationally recognized law firm with a premier healthcare practice is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Litigation Associate to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated regulatory and litigation matters impacting hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, managed care entities, and other healthcare providers nationwide.
The practice focuses on high-stakes healthcare regulatory disputes, administrative law matters, reimbursement issues, government investigations, and complex litigation involving federal and state healthcare programs.
Responsibilities
Represent healthcare providers in regulatory and administrative disputes
Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, motions, appeals, and other litigation filings
Assist with Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement challenges and appeals
Support government investigations, audits, and enforcement matters
Analyze federal and state healthcare regulations and advise clients on compliance and risk
Participate in administrative hearings, agency proceedings, and judicial litigation
Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, reimbursement, compliance, and transactional practices
Develop trusted advisor relationships with healthcare industry clients
Desired Background
J.D. from an accredited law school and active Bar admission
Approximately 2-5 years of litigation, regulatory, healthcare, government, or administrative law experience
Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience with complex motion practice, briefing, or appellate work preferred
Interest in healthcare law, healthcare policy, administrative law, and regulatory disputes
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:
Healthcare regulatory litigation
Administrative Procedure Act (APA) matters
Medicare and Medicaid disputes
Healthcare reimbursement appeals
Government investigations
False Claims Act matters
Fraud and abuse enforcement
Healthcare compliance and regulatory counseling
Administrative hearings or agency proceedings
Appellate advocacy
