Role Description The Deputy Manager Finance and Accounts is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position oversees day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and periodic closing activities. The role involves preparing financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and supporting audits and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The Deputy Manager collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to address financial queries, optimize cost controls, and support business decisions with data-driven insights. The role also includes guiding junior team members in accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls.
Qualifications
Strong Finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
Proficiency in Account Management and core accounting operations such as ledgers, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
Ability to provide effective Customer Service in financial matters, handling internal and external stakeholder queries professionally.
Exposure to Sales-related financial activities such as revenue recognition, invoicing, and coordination with the sales team.
Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including supervising staff, delegating tasks, and maintaining efficient workflows.
Advanced knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and collaborate effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
