Role Description The Project Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, responsible for overseeing lighting projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating work schedules, assigning tasks to technicians and workers, and monitoring progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The role involves reviewing project plans and drawings, supervising installation activities, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Project Supervisor will communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams, prepare daily/weekly reports, and support cost control by managing materials and resources efficiently. This position also requires guiding team members, conducting basic training as needed, and supporting continuous improvement in project processes.
Qualifications
Project coordination and supervision skills, including scheduling, task allocation, and progress monitoring.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and basic electrical or mechanical layouts related to lighting projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of on-site safety practices, quality standards, and basic compliance requirements in industrial or construction environments.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle on-site issues and adapt to changing project needs.
Basic computer proficiency, including use of email, spreadsheets, and project documentation tools.
Prior experience in project supervision, site management, or a related role in manufacturing, construction, or lighting industry preferred.
Diploma or degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
Ability to work full time on-site in Nagpur and manage field activities in varying work conditions.
