Role Description The Business Development Manager (Digital Marketing) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities for IT recruitment services through digital marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising. The individual will plan and execute digital marketing strategies to generate leads, nurture client relationships, and strengthen the agency’s brand presence. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential clients, managing marketing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, preparing proposals and presentations, and collaborating with recruiters to align marketing efforts with hiring needs. The role also includes maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients, conducting follow-ups, and participating in meetings to convert leads into long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
Strong business development skills, including lead generation, client outreach, relationship management, and negotiation.
Digital marketing expertise in areas such as social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze marketing and sales data, and use insights to optimize campaigns and business strategies.
Excellent communication skills, including persuasive writing, presentation abilities, and clear verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
Experience in B2B services, recruitment, HR tech, or IT services is highly beneficial.
Proficiency with CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet business targets ethically and professionally.
