Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Financial Analyst at M. De Groote & Co. The Financial Analyst will review and interpret financial data related to securities, commodities, and portfolios, providing clear reports and recommendations to support trading and risk management decisions. Daily tasks include analyzing market trends, assisting in portfolio performance tracking, preparing financial reporting packages, and supporting financial planning activities. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues through virtual meetings, communicating insights to stakeholders, and maintaining organized documentation of analyses and forecasts.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills to support investment and portfolio decisions.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess risk, and evaluate financial performance.
Candidates should possess experience in Financial Reporting, including preparing clear, accurate, and timely reports and summaries.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with remote team members.
Relevant experience in securities, commodities, or portfolio management is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial modeling tools, and data analysis software is advantageous.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks responsibly.
