Role Description This is an on-site Video Editor contract role based in Jabalpur. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos that clearly communicate technical concepts and product capabilities, including trimming, sequencing, and adding transitions. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing teams to understand project requirements, applying color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics or basic graphic elements where needed. The role also involves preparing videos for various formats and platforms, ensuring brand consistency, managing project files and media assets, and meeting agreed timelines for deliverables.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills, including experience handling raw footage and creating cohesive narratives.
Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills with the ability to perform color correction and maintain visual consistency across projects.
Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to design and integrate visual elements, titles, and animations into video content.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
Prior experience creating technical or product-focused videos, especially in technology, engineering, or defense-related fields, is an advantage.
A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
