About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description Pinot Pulse is built with a purpose-built regulatory and compliance platform for credit unions in the United States, which collectively manage $2.1 trillion in assets and serve communities such as teachers, firefighters, nurses, and local residents.
Unlike large banks, credit unions operate with limited technology resources yet face the same complex regulatory requirements, including NCUA 5300 Call Reports, BSA/AML monitoring, HMDA reporting, CRA assessments, and frequent examinations. Existing solutions are fragmented, expensive, and not designed for how credit unions function, forcing compliance teams to rely on manual work and disconnected tools.
Pinot Pulse addresses this gap by creating an integrated, automation-focused platform tailored specifically to the workflows and regulatory needs of credit unions. The company is mission-driven, aiming to reduce compliance burdens while strengthening the member-first focus that defines credit unions.
Role Description
Co-Founder, PinotPulse Enterprise, is a full-time remote role focused on building and scaling our enterprise offering for credit unions. This role involves defining product and go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with customers to understand their regulatory and operational challenges, and translating those insights into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
Co-Founder will drive business development, lead sales conversations with senior stakeholders at credit unions, and develop marketing narratives and positioning that resonate with compliance, risk, and executive teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitor research, refining pricing and packaging, overseeing key pilot implementations, and building repeatable processes for customer onboarding and success.
The role also includes collaborating with the founding team on fundraising, partnerships, and long-term company strategy, as well as setting culture, hiring priorities, and operational practices for a growing remote-first organization.
Qualifications
Track record of founding, co-founding, or building early-stage startups, including comfort with ambiguity and hands-on execution.
Experience in fintech, regtech, banking, or credit union operations, especially in compliance or risk, is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to inclusive, transparent leadership practices.
Excellent communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level presentations.
Proven experience in sales, particularly in B2B or enterprise environments, with the ability to lead end-to-end deal cycles and build trusted customer relationships.
Marketing skills to develop positioning, messaging, and campaigns that effectively reach and educate credit union decision-makers.
Research skills to deeply understand the regulatory technology landscape, customer needs, and competitive market dynamics.
