Business Intelligence Analyst

SpinQuest is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the United States on a remote basis.
We are building a high growth platform that blends social gaming with innovative currency mechanics creating seamless, real time experiences across games. We’re creating next gen sweepstakes gaming experiences that are fast, fun, and highly scalable.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for developing predictive models, advanced analytics, and data driven solutions that help drive player engagement, retention, product performance, and business growth. This is a highly hands-on role focused on applying machine learning, AI, predictive modelling, and business intelligence to areas such as VIP propensity, lapse prevention, spike reporting, player behavior, and economic modelling. The role will work across the organization and closely with Data Engineering and Product leadership to help shape how SpinQuest builds and leverages its data capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proven self-starter who can operate independently in a startup environment, identify opportunities proactively, and solve problems while the broader data infrastructure continues to evolve.
What You’ll Own
Lead the development of predictive models and advanced analytical solutions across key areas of the business, including VIP propensity, lapse prevention, player behavior, spike reporting, and economic modelling.
Apply machine learning, AI, statistical modelling, and advanced analytics to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights across the player lifecycle.
Partner with Retention, CRM, Product, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and translate complex analytical needs into scalable data driven solutions.
Work alongside Marketing Analyst and other BI resources to establish analytical best practices, improve internal reporting capabilities, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage data across the organization.
Partner closely with Data Engineering and Product leadership to help shape data infrastructure priorities, identify data gaps, develop practical workarounds, and ensure the data environment can support the evolving needs of the business.
Serve as a senior analytical resource across the organization, supporting product roadmap decisions, new product releases, player economics, business performance, and strategic initiatives through actionable insights and modelling.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in gaming, social gaming, sweepstakes, iGaming, or a closely related industry in a BI, analytics, data science, or modelling role, with increasing levels of ownership and responsibility.
Strong experience with machine learning, AI, predictive modelling, and statistical analysis, with demonstrated success applying these capabilities to complex business problems.
Proven experience building models around player behavior, VIP propensity, churn or lapse prevention, player value, economic modelling, or similar gaming focused use cases.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or similar analytical programming languages, along with experience working with BI and data visualization tools.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions without requiring detailed direction.
Experience working in a startup or high growth environment is strongly preferred, with experience at a social gaming or large sweepstakes company highly valued.
$160,000 - $200,000 a year
