Role Description The Senior Director Finance, Supplier Management, is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the financial strategy and oversight for Boeing’s global supplier base. This role directs financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgeting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling for supplier-related programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and performance metrics, overseeing supplier financial risk assessments, and guiding decisions on cost optimization, investments, and commercial terms. The Senior Director partners with Supplier Management, Operations, Procurement, and Executive Leadership to provide clear financial insights, prepare executive-level reports, and support strategic sourcing initiatives. The role also leads and develops a finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and adherence to Boeing’s governance, compliance, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong finance and financial planning expertise, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and financial statements analysis, with the ability to interpret and communicate key drivers and trends.
Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making, risk assessment, and cost optimization initiatives.
Extensive experience in corporate finance leadership, ideally within complex, global, or manufacturing environments.
Proven track record leading and developing diverse, high-performing finance teams in a matrixed organization.
Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed setting, managing priorities across time zones.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS in Finance) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial supply chain finance is beneficial.
