Role Description The Senior Director Finance, Supplier Management, is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the financial strategy and performance management of Boeing’s supplier portfolio. This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for supplier-related activities, ensuring alignment with broader corporate and business unit objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and reports, guiding cost and pricing analyses, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership on supplier investments, risks, and opportunities. The Senior Director collaborates with procurement, operations, and program teams to optimize supplier financial performance, support contract negotiations, and maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulations. The role also involves managing a finance team, setting priorities, mentoring talent, and improving financial processes and tools to enhance accuracy, transparency, and decision-making.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret complex data and support strategic decisions.
Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
Candidates should possess expertise with Financial Statements to analyze supplier and business unit results and identify trends.
Candidates should have experience in leadership and team management, including mentoring, performance oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
Candidates should have excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial insights to executive stakeholders.
Candidates should have experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations finance; aerospace or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
