Transaction Associate (Contract, Fully Remote) – Middle Market M&A
We are a fully remote law firm focused on middle market M&A, representing private equity firms and investment banks. We're adding two contract attorneys: one to our buyside practice and one to our sellside practice. Please note if you have a preference when applying.
What you'll do
Draft and redline LOIs, NDAs, MSAs, purchase agreements, and ancillary documents
Discuss market positions and deal terms with clients and counterparties
Return assignments within 24 hours of receipt
Qualifications
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Active bar license in any state, in good standing with no disciplinary history
M&A experience preferred but not required
Comfortable with Word track changes, Adobe Acrobat, and Gmail
Compensation and arrangement
Independent contractor (1099) role
Pay is volume-based. Most of our contractors earn $5,000–$15,000 per month; those taking on a heavier workload can earn more.
