Role Description The Quality Control Chemist is a full-time, on-site role. This role involves performing routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, following established methods and regulatory guidelines. The chemist will operate and maintain laboratory instruments, conduct calibrations, document test results, and ensure adherence to quality control procedures. Responsibilities also include reviewing data for accuracy, identifying deviations, assisting in investigations, and supporting method validation and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with laboratory staff and quality teams to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Control skills, including knowledge of QC procedures, documentation, and compliance with relevant standards.
Candidates should possess core Laboratory Skills, such as sample preparation, handling of chemicals, and adherence to safety protocols.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of analytical techniques for pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
Candidates should possess experience with Laboratory Equipment and Calibration, including routine operation, maintenance, and performance checks of instruments.
Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and quality management systems.
Attention to detail, strong record-keeping abilities, and proficiency with basic computer applications for data entry and reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively in a laboratory team and communicate clearly about test results and quality issues.
