About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to partner closely with our CEO at a fast-growing startup. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the center of strategy, operations, and execution. You will act as a force multiplier for the CEO—driving priorities, improving organizational effectiveness, and ensuring the company moves with speed and clarity.
This is not a traditional administrative role. You will own critical initiatives, solve complex cross-functional problems, and help shape the company’s trajectory as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to the CEO on company priorities, decision-making, and long-term planning.
Drive execution of the CEO’s and leadership team’s top priorities—tracking progress, removing blockers, and ensuring accountability.
Own and manage the CEO’s operating rhythm: leadership meetings, board materials, all-hands, strategic offsites, and key external engagements.
Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives that span product, growth, operations, people, and fundraising.
Improve organizational processes, communication, and decision velocity across the company.
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and analysis to support high-stakes decisions and external meetings (investors, partners, board).
Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal teams as well as external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
Identify operational gaps and opportunities; design and implement scalable systems and cadences as the company grows.
Support talent-related initiatives, including leadership hiring, onboarding of key roles, and culture-building efforts when needed.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise strong judgment on sensitive company matters.
Qualifications
Required
8–12 years of experience in high-growth startups, strategy/operations roles, management consulting, or as a Chief of Staff / Founder’s Associate / BizOps lead.
Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and drive results without heavy structure.
Exceptional structured thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong project management and organizational skills; proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
High emotional intelligence, discretion, and executive presence.
Comfortable with data analysis and turning insights into clear recommendations (advanced Excel/Google Sheets and slide skills required).
Experience preparing board materials, investor updates, or strategic presentations is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
