Role Description This full-time remote Certified Public Accountant role is responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting needs of FARRELL PROPERTIES. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate recording of property-related income, expenses, and assets. The CPA will handle tax preparation and compliance, including property and corporate tax filings, and support tax planning initiatives. The role involves monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and collaborating with leadership to provide financial analysis and recommendations. The CPA will also help strengthen internal controls, support audits, and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Accounting and Finance, including general ledger management and financial analysis.
Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
Hands-on Tax Preparation experience, including knowledge of relevant corporate and property tax regulations.
Active or eligible Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license, with familiarity in applying professional standards.
Advanced skills in accounting software and spreadsheets; experience with real estate or property management systems is beneficial.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with a commitment to detail and deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in real estate or asset management is a plus.
