Role Description This remote UI/UX Developer contract role focuses on designing and building intuitive, accessible interfaces for web and digital products. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating mockups and interactive prototypes, refining visual design elements, and translating design concepts into front-end code. The role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to understand user needs, define user flows, and ensure a consistent user experience across platforms. The UI/UX Developer will test and iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics, maintain design documentation, and follow best practices for performance and usability. The position requires self-directed work in a remote environment while meeting project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong mockup and prototyping skills to quickly visualize and test interface concepts.
Candidates should possess visual design skills, including layout, typography, color, and design systems.
Candidates should possess user experience design (UED) skills, including user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
Candidates should possess front-end development skills, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to implement designs accurately.
Experience with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
Knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills for remote teamwork are expected.
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in UI/UX, interaction design, front-end development, or a related field is advantageous.
