Role Description The UI/UX Developer at Newtonite is a part-time, remote role focused on designing and implementing user interfaces that deliver intuitive and engaging experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating mockups and visual designs, building interactive prototypes, and translating UI specifications into front-end code. The role involves collaborating with product managers and developers to refine user flows, conducting usability reviews, and iterating on designs based on feedback and data. The UI/UX Developer will ensure consistency in design systems, optimize interfaces for performance and accessibility, and contribute to documentation of design standards and front-end best practices.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Mockups and Visual Design, with the ability to create clear, polished UI layouts and design assets.
Experience with Prototyping to test and validate interaction patterns and user flows before implementation.
Solid understanding of User Experience Design (UED), including usability principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in UI/UX roles or relevant portfolio demonstrating shipped products or prototypes.
Preferred education in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
